The company was started by Philip Wood in 1983. The aim of the company has always been to work to the highest of standards. Being car enthusiasts our self’s we understand how it feels entrusting your cars to our care.
All staff have a wide knowledge of their chosen discipline being the SERVICE CENTRE or BODY SHOP. They will ensure that the greatest care and skills are taken whilst working on any vehicle.

Meet The Team At PRWood
Philip Wood had a passion for sports cars since childhood. He started in the motor trade in 1976 on such marques as Rolls Royce, Porsche, Ferrari, Lamborghini, AC, Lotus and TVR. In his 32 years working on top marques sports cars he has gained a wide knowledge of repair, maintenance and modifications
Mark Stimson, Has over 19 years experience in the motor trade. He has worked at various places including 6 years at TVR’s centre Ackley main dealer. Also worked for Tower View Race services for 14years. So has a wide knowledge of all TVR models, old and new.
Dave Newton, Has been in the motor trade for over 32 years. Having worked on such marques as Jaguar, Porsche, Lotus, and TVR. He joined the companyIn 1997.And has a wide knowledge of the TVR marques and is excellent with tracing electrical problems.
Dave Cook, Has been within the company for 14 years. Considered to be one of the top composite repair technicians in the country. Years of experience in the manufacture and repair of fibre glass, carbon fibre and modar systems. Specializing in modification of composite car bodies.
William Nash, newest addition to the company, already adept in airbrushing and specialist paint effects. And learning all aspects of all TVR body repair.
